A Corvette for all occasions
In 2318, in order to ensure the defense of its territories and bases during the upcoming deep fleet rearmament, the Centauri Republic launched the Coruno-class patrol ship. The tasks of this ship include guarding the nearest space of colonies, orbital bases and stations, and other important facilities. In addition, the patrol ship is used for convoy protection and reconnaissance. If necessary, the Koruno can be used for strike purposes in small or large groups, as was done in the past with the Vorchans.
Guardian of the Republic
One of the features of this ship is also the ability to fly in the planet’s atmosphere.
The initial series of Coruno-class patrol ships consisted of 48 units. Plans call for a second series, but the production timeline and the size of the series have not been disclosed.
